Theatre show explores complex world of care

Feidlim Cannon has recently become a first-time dad and is delighted to have a healthy child. The co-artistic director of Dublin theatre company Brokentalkers is also gaining first-hand experience of what’s involved in caring for eight-week old baby, even as he’s helping to care for his ageing mother, organising medical appointments and ensuring her medication is in order.

“The dynamics have shifted for us and it’s about trying to find the balance,” he says of the new reality for him and his partner.

So, his company’s new show Everything Falls, which comes to Galway’s Town Hall Theatre on Tuesday, November 26, seems particularly appropriate.
