Reylta is an evocative Irish singer‑songwriter known for her haunting alt‑folk sound that weaves together rural Galway traditions and contemporary introspection. She began writing songs at just eleven years old and has been performing with a band since around 2017. A graduate of BIMM in songwriting, her early musical influences include Florence + The Machine, Damien Rice, Hozier, and Bell X1.
Her debut single Fools Games dropped in 2019, but it was her critically acclaimed 2023 self‑released album, Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost, that cemented her reputation. Dubbed a “macabre lullaby,” the album was recorded in a week‑long live session at The Song House in Donegal with producer Darragh Nolan and her full band.
Irish media quickly took notice: RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, RTÉ 2XM, Galway Bay FM, and KCLR FM all championed her singles October, Lucifer’s Love / Leannán an Diabhail, Closer, and Sightseeing, with the Irish Independent naming her “Galway’s Alt Folk Queen”.
In early 2025, Reylta entered Eurosong with her song Fire, described by fans and critics as “bitter‑sweet melodies with an alternative edge” rooted in Irish poetic landscapes and rich storytelling. Known for her stage presence, Reylta describes her performances as “pouring everything into the stage,” then “crashing hard” afterward.
Today, Reylta continues to captivate audiences with her spellbinding vocals, lush string arrangements, and lyrical depth—inviting listeners to a world both mystical and deeply human.
